This exquisite and secluded property is located at the base of the Koʻolau mountains in Waimānalo. Surrounded by breath-taking views that will captivate and invigorate your spirit, this private property offers an experience that is one of a kind. With over 10 acres to explore, this regenerative farm is home to many fruit trees, indigenous plants, wild chickens, and other beautiful birds that you will likely spot while taking a stroll on our nature path. We have worked really hard to care for this ʻāina (land), and we are happy to share it with respectful travelers looking for a quiet, authentic, farm-stay experience. Camp Koʻolau provides bathrooms, a warm-water outdoor shower with an amazing view, and parking. Our farm is only a 5-minute drive to the beach, and 15 minutes from popular, Kailua town. As a working farm, we do have insects and geckos hanging around. So, it's not uncommon to encounter them. Also, we often have visits from wild pigs that come down from the mountain, so you may see them as well. Although we are certain you will love this place, please keep in mind, it takes a lot of hard work to maintain it. Thus, you will probably hear farm equipment and activities buzzing about (typically on the weekends). And, we want you to respect, love, and care for this place as much as we do by leaving it better than you found it. For an added fee, we also offer: An exclusive adventure on our Hawaiian sailing canoe to Nā Mokulua (Twin Islands) or around Mānana (Rabbit Island). Car Camping Site

Scooters land is the closest you can get to those beautiful mountains of Waimanalo. It’s sooo quiet and at any time of the day, looking around is just so serene and magical. Scooter and her Ohana were THE sweetest and made our stay so much more special. Scooters thoughtfulness in the whole set up made it such a breeze to settle right in. My personal favorite was that shower looking up at the mountains, wow wow wow. We hope to be back soon.

Car Camping Site

I absolutely loved my time at Scooter’s land. I arrived late but was still greeted with a smile by Scooter and her mom. The shower was nice and hot, bathroom was clean, and the views were incredible. I didn’t want to leave!

Car Camping Site

We loved car camping on this GORGEOUS lush land! Scooter was so kind and gave us such a warm welcome. It felt quiet and secluded and just so lovely camping next to the striking mountains. When we mentioned we were excited to eat bananas on the island, we soon after found Scooter had picked a bundle and left them on our car—such a sweet touch and sooo delicious. The hot shower, clean bathroom, and lounge area with mini fridge and tables with a view of the mokes made this place special. We hope to stay here again!

Amazing

This places is simply amazing! Wake Up with the sound of the nature is to see the real Hawaii. Scooter was so nice helping us to found local places to eat and explain us everything with a great smile. Thank you to allow us to see that view in the morning!

Farmstay Unit 2

If I could give scooter and the farmstay 10 stars I would. 5 just isn't enough. The room was beautiful and the farm and view was even more so. Definitely worth every penny. Thank you so much for all the accommodations and for letting us stay on your beautiful property. We will definitely be back and will definitely be recommending this property to all our friends and family.

Beautiful property, friendly host!

I loved it here! Scooter was excellent, helpful and friendly. The property is exceptionally beautiful. I loved my cute room! Everything I needed was provided. I felt safe here and the property was quiet. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to the area and highly recommend it. Very easy to find. I loved the view from the outdoor shower! A delightful stay. Thank you!
